Zealynx Academy

Zealynx Security's hands-on education platform for Web3 builders and founders. Rebuild production protocols from scratch, shadow-audit real past security contests, build your own AI auditor agents, and learn the non-code side of launching in the eMBA for Web3 Founders.

Zealynx Academy is the education platform built by Zealynx Security to help Web3 founders build secure protocols and grow them into real businesses. It is free to access at academy.zealynx.io.

The program is designed around four connected pillars, each solving a problem Zealynx's audit team kept seeing across 30+ protocol audits: builders who fork code they do not fully understand, founders who can build but cannot launch, and security tooling that misses classes of bugs.

The Four Pillars

The build. Rebuild a production protocol from scratch, guided, line by line, until your code matches the original. Not to teach Solidity syntax, but to help you understand exactly what you are about to fork — what you have, what you want to keep, what you want to change. The first module is Uniswap V2. Your code is verified against 207 automated tests. Compound V2 is in progress.

The security training. After building a protocol, shadow-audit a past security contest on a real fork of the same protocol family. Five live targets include Basin (a protocol that ran a $40k public contest), ElasticSwap, Velodrome, Flux Finance, and Canto v2. Together they represent 10,163 lines of real Solidity with 46 documented bugs. When the time-boxed audit ends, you get the full review and the learnings.

The eMBA for Web3 Founders. Tokenomics, fundraising, governance, treasury, regulatory, go-to-market. The business-side knowledge that technical founders rarely learn until after they have shipped something and seen it fail for reasons unrelated to code.

The AI Auditor Agent builder. An interactive guide with multiple paths, each modeled after the most powerful existing AI auditor tools. Pick a path, build your agent, then benchmark it in the AI Auditor Arena against 118 official Code4rena bugs across 10 contests.

Progression and Identity

The platform is gamified by design. Seven ranks from newcomer to sovereign. A public leaderboard. Lynx and badges earned through real work — every build checkpoint, every lesson completed, every bug found in a Shadow Arena target. The rationale is that in Web3, reputation is a resume, and the Academy turns progress into a verifiable public track record.

Origin and Funding Context

The Academy grew out of Zealynx Security's audit practice. It was publicly opened to everyone on April 22, 2026, after six weeks of private use by 44 early builders. On April 21, 2026, Zealynx Academy was accepted into the Giveth Ethereum Security QF round backed by TheDAO Security Fund's 500 ETH matching pool. The Academy's founder, Carlos Vendrell, was recognized with the ETHSecurity Badge for contribution and expertise in the Ethereum Security ecosystem.

Why "Academy" Specifically

Many Web3 learning platforms teach syntax. Some teach frameworks. Zealynx Academy is oriented around a different premise: you learn a protocol by building it, you learn security by breaking forks, you learn the business by studying how protocols actually succeed or fail. The "academy" framing is intentional — the platform is a structured path, not a library of tutorials.
