ETHCC[9] Referral Sprint — Privacy Notice

1.Data Controller
Zealynx Security, based in Wroclaw, Poland, is the data controller for personal data collected through this referral program.
2.What We Collect
- From referrers: Name, email address, organization, and referral code.
- From referred parties: Company name and contact details.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g., health, biometric, or financial account information).
3.Purpose
We process personal data to operate the referral program, track referrals, calculate and distribute rewards, and communicate with participants about the program.
4.Legal Basis (GDPR)
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a referral program and growing our business.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) where required for marketing communications beyond the scope of this program.
5.Data Storage
Data is stored in Supabase (EU-hosted infrastructure) and processed by Zealynx team members only. Access is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
6.Retention
Program data is retained for 12 months after the program ends. After this period, personal data is anonymized or deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law.
7.Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Data may be shared with:
- Supabase — data hosting and infrastructure provider.
- Payment providers — to process reward payments to eligible referrers.
8.Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing

The referral page uses essential cookies only (e.g., session management and referral code tracking). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies on the referral pages.
