Reset function is redundant

The reset function duplicated behavior already accessible through the session-end flow. Both code paths achieved the same outcome from the user's perspective. Maintaining both increases surface area to test, audit, and secure without delivering new functionality.

Consolidate to a single canonical session-reset path. Remove the redundant function or, if both must remain for compatibility, have one delegate to the other.
